“Hi Ian,

I’ve read many books on business and had some experience over the past 20 years of opening and operating businesses. Whilst the books have great ideas there is something missing in the “recipe for success” that you only pick up when you see it and do it.

We call it “x-factor” but you summarise it as willingness to work hard and do what it takes, combined with an intelligent application to what you do, combined with an ability to grasp what is happening straight away in any given situation, combined with constantly doing what works and stop doing what doesn’t. Every successful business such as yours will have someone at the top or near the top who has these attributes.

In dealing with you over the period we have sold our house, your effort on our behalf was sensational, you constantly had a grasp on what was going on and constantly reviewed and adjusted the process with intelligent, logical ideas.

On the back of this it is no surprise that you sell the volumes of real estate that you do. Your process, combined with who you are guarantees a successful business.

Best wishes
